Welcome to the Junior Woman's Club of Arlington
President's Message:
“Every Minute Counts”
In our busy lives we all know the true meaning of “Every Minute Counts.” As daughters, sisters, mothers, aunts, and career woman we are all stretched for time and that time comes down to the minute. Every day, at some time, we have only a minute to complete that last detail; gather the items needed for our child’s activity, put the finishing touches on that important work document, run an errand for an ailing parent, or pick up tonight’s dinner. This year I would like every one of us to reflect on the power our club has on making change and how change can happen with each minute that we volunteer our time.
Our club has grown in the last year and with that growth we have accumulated a vast amount of talents, ideas, and hands. If each one of our members contributes a minute or a few minutes to assist in our club events we can accomplish great endeavors. Through our club events, our collective minutes allow us to contribute to the welfare of women, children and families.
The Junior Woman’s Club of Arlington started the tradition of helping women, children and families in 1927. Through the years, JWCA has received awards and acknowledgement for all the wonderful community and national projects it has completed. As a Club we need to realize in order to continue another 85 years we need to engage new and old members and accept any minute that can be offered because “Every Minute Counts!”
I would like to thank every one of our members for the dedication, hard work and continued support you have shown to JWCA. Without your time, talent and ideas, JWCA would not be as successful as it is. I know that the next year with be filled with Success, Fun, and Enjoyment.
