4th and 5th Grade Spelling Bee - Wednesday, January 25, 2023
The Junior Woman's Club of Arlington invites all fourth and fifth grade students who are enrolled in Hudson County Schools, or who are residents of Hudson County, to participate in our annual Spelling Bee.
Please note: Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Spelling Bee has been rescheduled to the snow date of Wednesday, January 25th.
When?
The Spelling Bee will take place on Wednesday, January 25 at Kearny's Schuyler School Auditorium (644 Forest Street, Kearny). Fourth and fifth grade students will compete together in one competition. The competition will start promptly at 6:30 pm, we ask that you please arrive by 6:00 pm to ensure a smooth check-in process. Once the first round of the Bee has ended, late arrivals will not be allowed to participate.
How do I sign my child up?
Students who are interested in participating in the Spelling Bee must complete this registration form by January 23 at midnight. No late entries will be accepted. Once you submit this form online, your child's registration will be complete and no further action is required for your child to participate.
The Winners will go on to...
The top three finishers from this competition will move on to the NJSFWC Liberty District Spelling Bee (February date TBA). District winners will then go on to a State competition on March 18 in New Brunswick. Additional information will be provided to the families of the top three finishers at the conclusion of the contest.
